Velocities - Walkthroughs
Velocities are short training exchanges, that are meant to be done over and over to improve muscle memory. In our system each velocity has 4 exchanges. There are 3 velocities per rank.
Velocities are intended to be done with 2 students moving back and forth during the exercise. The exchange is normally practiced with the first student advancing and attacking for 2 sequences, while the second student retreats. Then the students reverse direction, with the second student advancing and attacking, while the first student is now defending and retreating. Each velocity is inspired by a specific Star Wars form, and will be demonstrated at speed as well as individually in a walk through.
