Awards:
The Bounty Hunter Award is for students who participate in all 3 types of events at a tournament. That includes Forms (Kata), Demonstration Teams (Demo) and Sparring (Dueling). It encourages a student to reach out and attempt all aspects of the L-Saber Academy training system to improve their skill set. |
The Master Saberist Award is for students who have passed all the LSA trials and standards. They have shown a high degree of swordsmanship, control and dedication to the art. LSA recognizes these individuals as Saber Masters. This award can only be gained through the testing at the designated Master Testing Center, currently United Studios of Self Defense's headquarters in Southern California.

The Mandalorian / Knight Award is the highest level award currently offered in the LSA system. It requires a student to complete all other ranks, including Ambasador, Bounty Hunter and Master Saberist. This award is the final phase of LSA training and participation, only accomplished by a select few, and is recognized as such among LSA saberists. |
The Obi - Studio award is a permanent history of those students who accomplished each of the other awards in sequence. Under each of the symbols are the first 10 students to reach the particular award. These are the students responsible for creating an LSA Obi - Studio. The studio itself is recognized by the LSA system as having embraced the Saberist community. The studio instructors are recognized with specific ranks among the instructors at LSA. This award takes years of hard work to complete.
