As you all enter the room, you can see it is covered in webs. The webs lead 100 feet up to the top on the cavern. At the top of the web is an energy source and what appears to be an interdimensional portal. A large half spider, half human female stands atop the portal. Across the cavern is a ravine. On the other side of the ravine, is what appears to be a small army of half man / half animal soldiers ready to do battle. As you enter you notice, that the strands of the web pulse with light from time to time, originating from the portal at the top. The web lines whip around from time to time and re-attach themselves to the floor.

As you charge forward some take to the webs, as others prepare to meet the army coming from the other side of the ravine.
